Our professional staff is one of our greatest assets. It includes licensed dental hygienists, certified dental assistants, as well as administrative staff.
All are directly involved in making our office an efficient and comfortable place.
The clinical staff members are certified in dental radiology and have been trained in infection control procedures. They maintain updated CPR certifications and attend continuing education seminars yearly.
Our dentists have pursued their dental education far beyond their dental school experience.

Summer 2010 News
Latest Technologies
Same Day Crowns:
We now have the capablility to fabricate crowns and other indirect restorations in one visit. With the advancements in Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), we now can design and mill your crown while you wait. No need to worry about a temporary crown or additional visits.
Digital Panoramic X-Ray Machine:
Another recent equipment purchase is our digital panoramic x-ray machine. The conversion to digital radiography has been such a success that we have decided to expand it to the next level.
This addition enables us to observe dental structures with the ease of digital and a much wider area of imaging. Now we do not have to place film sensors in very difficult and uncomfortable areas of the mouth to see the whole oral area including the lower jaw and the upper sinus areas. The single picture gives patients much less radiation and provides us much more information.
We're Always Pursuing Knowledge
We have also pursued new areas of learning. We are constantly attending continuing education classes, but this year we are focusing on the area of occlusion (dental bite relationships).
Quite a few of our patients are having problems with dental wear, teeth cracking and breaking, and soreness of the jaw joint and jaw and headache pain.
Our attention to this problem and its causes have enabled us to institute very non invasive treatments. We also can repair damage that has already occurred with confidence in the understanding of underlying causes.
Invisalign
Another treatment that has been extremely exciting has been the finishing of many of our patients who are using Invisalign. It has been an amazingly successful addition to our office. Many of our patients have been extremely pleased with the finished result of their efforts. Lots of smiles have been changed for the better, for the more healthy, easy to clean, and the more even, regular alignment.
Yankee Dental Congress
Once again we are anticipating the annual Yankee Dental Congress. It has become our office re-energizer in the mid-winter. The staff and doctors pursue this together to gain new perspectives through this learning opportunity.
Give Kids a Smile Day
The commitment to Give Kids a Smile Day has also been made. We feel a keen sense of responsibility to offer our services to the under-served in this fashion. On that same note, Dr. Ann Kirk worked on the MAC dental van this past fall to offer dental care through the Massachusetts Dental Society's outreach effort.
Thank You.
